0.1.2 - 2026-10-10

  • Added: Apply to mesh now on each entry and Apply all to mesh at the bottom of the inspector. After a confirmation they save a copy of the clothing mesh with the shape keys the preview shows in Assets/ShapeKeyTransfer/Applied/, assign it to the clothing with each key at its Default value, and remove the applied entries. The original mesh is kept, and Undo brings back the mesh and the entries.
  • Changed: the preview is on from the start, also after Unity is reopened or scripts reload, so clothing shows the same result as the avatar build as soon as it is turned on. Until an entry's Preview slider is moved, the new shape key on the clothing is shown at Default value and the body shape key keeps its value in the scene.

0.1.1 - 2026-10-09

  • Added: a small GitHub Sponsors link at the bottom of the inspector.
  • Changed: each curve is a thin strip under its slider, like PhysBone curves, and opens the curve editor when clicked. The curve presets and axis labels are gone; the direction is in each curve's tooltip.
  • Changed: every curve (Movement fade shape, Smoothing fade shape, Strength by distance) runs from the edge (left) to the inside (right), and higher means stronger. The rising presets in the curve editor work as they are. Strength by distance defaults to 1. Curves saved with 0.1.0 are converted on load and give the same result.
  • Fixed: a Modular Avatar Shape Changer that sets or toggles the new shape key on the clothing now takes effect in the avatar build.
  • Fixed: clothing follows a body shape key even where a Modular Avatar Shape Changer always-on Delete removes the body underneath. The preview moves the same as the avatar build.
  • Fixed: a non-zero body shape key value in the scene no longer changes the new shape key on the clothing or the Keep outside the body result.
  • Fixed: the clothing's normal change was scaled wrong when the body and clothing have different skinning scales (for example renderer scale 100 and 1).
  • Fixed: on avatars with a Modular Avatar Scale Adjuster, the Show influence dots sit on the previewed clothing. The dots are also cheaper to draw.
  • Fixed: when the body renderer has no mesh, the Inspector shows a dedicated hint and the problem badge counts 1. The avatar build warning also says the mesh is missing.
  • Fixed: undoing or redoing the removal of an entry puts preview values and expanded states back on their entries.
  • Fixed: Keep outside the body could not push clothing away from body triangles only a few millimetres across, because their normal came out as zero. This was most visible on small avatars.
  • Fixed: with several Animation windows open, Add key to current clip keys the window showing one of this avatar's clips, preferring the one that is recording.
  • Fixed: when a later preview changes the clothing's vertex count, the Show influence dots are hidden instead of drawn at the wrong vertices.
  • Fixed: Multiplier now applies after Keep outside the body, so lowering it below 100% reduces the movement. Before, the clothing was still pushed out with the body at 0%.
  • Fixed: Keep outside the body also pushes clothing that started inside the body out to 1 mm, and gives the same result in the preview and the avatar build near body edges.
  • Added: the Scene view draws larger influence dots with a Dot size control, the part of the body the shape key moves, lines on the clothing where Movement range ends (orange) and where Movement fade starts (lavender), and the smoothing range circle under the mouse.
  • Changed: shape key calculation for the preview and the avatar build is faster. On a real avatar one entry went from about 0.85 s to about 0.03 s, and changing a value with the preview on takes about 35 ms instead of about 160 ms. Moving the Default value slider no longer recalculates the preview.

0.1.0 - 2026-10-07

  • Added: the Shape Key Transfer component. It creates body shape keys as the new shape keys on the clothing. Shape keys with multiple frames (in-betweens) are transferred with the same frames.
  • Added: Movement range (cm), Movement fade (cm), Movement fade shape and Strength by distance curves with presets.
  • Added: Keep outside the body, which pushes clothing that would sink into the enlarged body back out.
  • Added: NDMF preview. A 0–100 slider, Preview body too, Start preview / Stop preview, and Show influence in the Scene view.
  • Added: animations made against the component are converted into animations of the new shape keys on the clothing at build time. Recording and Add key to current clip are supported.
  • Added: when a name collides, a number is appended. Entries whose shape key is missing from the body are skipped and reported.
  • The result is the same with different avatar, clothing and bone scales, negative scale, and different bone structures.
